Group Membership There are three types of Steam community groups, each with different membership rules. Public group - Users can join on their own or via an invite from a friend. Restricted group - Users can join by requesting membership. They can also receive an invite from a user that has permission to add members. Closed group

Family Sharing is now a two-factor authorization process, where up to ten Steam accounts on up to ten machines may be authorized to share your library at a given time. Any of these ten users may log into any of your ten authorized machines to access and play your shared games. Additionally, users may still request access to your shared library.

Look for your name along the top of the Steam Community homepage. Hover over it and then select "Groups" from the drop-down. This page will show you all of the groups you're currently a member of. Click on the link along the top which says "Create a new group". The next screen will allow you to specify the Group Name, Abbreviation (Clan Tag) and the Group link.

I'm currently trying display events from a Steam community group on a forum (running vBulletin 4.2.1). I've looked at the Steam API's and none of the ones I can find give much access to groups, the most they seem able to do is to display a members list.
